H 1043 Matteo Thun boasts clean, soft, and simple lines in an elegant and sober style with timeless class. The front of the slightly rounded lever is concave, allowing the light to generate a subtle play of shadows and volumes.
Available in Polished chrome/Satin chrome and Polished brass/Satin brass finishes, the series includes a door handle and a window handle (with two different types of backplate).

Matteo Thun
Architect and designer, born in Bolzano in 1952. He studied at the Salzburg Academy under Oskar Kokoschka and Emilio Vedova and in 1975 he graduated in architecture in Florence. Partner of Ettore Sottsass Associati in 1981 co-founded the Memphis group.
From 1990 to 1993 he was Art Director of Swatch. Member of the Royal Association of British Architects, was awarded of the most prestigious international awards. In 1984 he opened his own studio in Milan, where in 2001 he founded Matteo Thun & Partners, which develops product design and architecture projects from small to large scale.
