H 1003 Matteo Thun is an homage to curved volumes. The arched surface of the handle develops in a soft wave that rises and falls, giving movement and three-dimensionality to the handle as well as a simple and ergonomic grip.
H 1003 Matteo Thun is made from brass and available in Satin chrome, Antique, Polished brass, Satin brass and Polished brass/Satin brass finishes. The series includes a door handle and window handle (with long or short backplate).
BioCote® antimicrobial treatment is available on all finishes except Satin chrome.

Matteo Thun
Architect and designer, born in Bolzano in 1952. He studied at the Salzburg Academy under Oskar Kokoschka and Emilio Vedova and in 1975 he graduated in architecture in Florence. Partner of Ettore Sottsass Associati in 1981 co-founded the Memphis group.
From 1990 to 1993 he was Art Director of Swatch. Member of the Royal Association of British Architects, was awarded of the most prestigious international awards. In 1984 he opened his own studio in Milan, where in 2001 he founded Matteo Thun & Partners, which develops product design and architecture projects from small to large scale.
